PURPOSE:To produce an indirectly-heated cathode having quite short picture- appearing time, by coating first and second insulation material layers on main metal board face while welding a heater wire to the terminal take-out section after molding then coating an electron radiation subsistance on the other face of said metal board. CONSTITUTION:An insulation member comprised of such as Al2O3 is injection welded on one main face of a basic metal board 1 to coat the first insulation member layer 3. Then a heater shaped mask 5 is mounted on said layer 3 and a heater member comprised of such as W is injection welded to coat heater member layer 7. Thereafter a mask 8 for covering the terminal take-out sections 71, 72 of said layer 7 is mounted and an insulation member comprised of such as Al2O3 is injection welded to coat the second insulation member layer 10. Thereafter it is cut into such shape as including the basic metal board 11 and cathode supporters 121, 122 and one end of heater take-out wires 131, 132 is welded to the terminal take-out sections 71, 72. Then an electron radiation subsistance 14 is coated to complete a super-quick cathode. |
