<p>The bottle sealing cap is for use with a bottle having an oblong and round neck (13). The bottle (11) is of rigid material, with an external radial rib (15) of triangular section on the neck, the rib being interrupted at one point by a flattened portion (15a). The cap (12) has an elastic skirt extending downwards from the circular top and inside the skirt are a first set of bosses (32) extending radially inwards and evenly spaced in a plane parallel to the top. These snap into engagement under the rib. A second set of internal radial bosses (27) lie in a plane between and parallel to those of the first set and the top, and between them and the top is fitted a circular insert plate (30) of liq. absorbent material of the same dia. as the external dia. of the neck top (13a).</p> |
