PURPOSE:To produce the titled fender or the like without causing deviation of patterns or the like, peeling, etc. by forming a metallic plate which has beforehand been formed with decorative patterns on the surface and has been coated with a synthetic resin into a prescribed shape while giving elongation deformation to the entire surface by the pressing and bending forces in the thickness direction. CONSTITUTION:Decorative parts W1 consisting of decorative patterns M... are formed by printing or the like on the surface of a metallic plate (e.g. Al alloy plate) W, and further, the surface thereof is coated with a synthetic resin film W2 of nylon or the like by such a method as adhesive bonding. This coated plate W is then blanked to a developed fender shape and at the same time, preformed curled step parts W5, W6 of a downward inverted U-channel shape higher by one step as much as the thickness of the plate than the intermediate part W4 are preformed, whereby a basic blank material W3 is made. Thence, this material W3 is formed to a trough shape while being given elongation deformation over the entire surface by the pressing and bending forces in the thickness direction; at the same time, it is curled over the entire surface, whereby the fender or the like having the decorative surface is produced. |
