PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease in data transfer efficiency, by providing a means identifying a chain command(CIC) included in a control information group with an input and output controller storing a plurality of control information groups transmitted from a central control device. CONSTITUTION:Through the instruction of a central control device 1, control information groups CW1-CW3 are stored in working register groups 301-303 of an input and output controller 30. The device 30 starts the operations of an input and output device 5 as instructed by the device 1 and the transfer of data amount BC1 is made with an address MA1 of a main storage device 2 based on the CW1. A CIC identifying circuit 307 judges CIC-C1 of the CW1 as logical 1, makes a control register group designation control section 304 operative, and blocks an interruption control circuit 306 to block the transmission of an end signal E from the device 5 to the device 1. Succeedingly, the data transfer based on the CWs 2 and 3 is made. The circuit 307 judges logical 0 of CIC-C3 of the CW3 and operates the circuit 306 to pass through the signal E and transmits an interruption request signal RI to the device 1. |
