PURPOSE:To make it possible to efficiently perform the irradiation of the second electromagnetic energy, by connecting the irradiation amplifier of the second electromagnetic energy and a receiver with a transmission line of 1/2 wavelength, and providing high-frequency switches in the transmission line. CONSTITUTION:The first electromangetic energy is applied to a sample through a 1/4 wavelength cable 8, a high-frequency switch 11, a 1/4 wavelength cable 12 and a detector 2. The nuclear magnetic resonance signal thereby obtained is a value of microvolt. Therefore, the high-frequency switches 11 and 16 are brought into a break state, and the signal is inputted to a receiver 3 with a minimum loss. When the second electromangetic energy is supplied through an irradiation amplifier 5, a high-frequency switch 18 and a 1/2 wavelength cable 17 in order to perform a double resonance method, the high-frequency switches 11 and 16 are brought into a break state, and the signal is applied to the detector 2 through the input terminal of the receiver 3. Tyereby, a characteristic impedance can be obtained at the irradiation of the second electromagnetic energy, while a high impedance can be obtained at the detection of the nuclear magnetic resonance signal. |
