PURPOSE:To improve an output characteristics, by detecting pulse current and voltage to be outputted, obtaining the impedance constant of a load based on the result, and setting the characteristics of pulse current outputted thereafter according to the constant. CONSTITUTION:An AC power supply 1 supplies AC power to a pulse current generating circuit 2 and the voltage variance is detected 3. The detected output of the detecting circuit 3 is fed to the generating circuit 2. The pulse current outputted from the circuit 2 is fed to a load 4 being an electromagnet and the voltage is detected 5 and the pulse current itself is detected 6. The detected outputs of the detection circuits 5, 6 are inputted to an impedance calculation circuit 7 which calculates an impedance constant. The circuit 7 supplies the calculated impedance constant to the circuit 2. Thus, the impedance constant of the load 4 is obtained, and by setting the pulse current based on said constant, the desired charcteristics for the pulse current are obtained esily. |
