PURPOSE:To obtain a watchcase having a rich color tone and high corrosion and wear resistances by spraying a hard alloy on the surface of a watchcase made of low m.p. material at ordinary temp. CONSTITUTION:A soft material such as plastics, an Al alloy or a Zn alloy having a relatively low m.p. and superior workability is formed into a watchcase 1 by die casting, forging or other method. A hard alloy such as an Au alloy or a Pt alloy having superior corrosion resistance and a color tone such as gold or white is then sprayed on the surface of the watchcase 1 in an ordinary temp. atmosphere to form a hard alloy film 2 having a rich color tone. |
