A bright aluminum alloy consists essentially of, in weight percentage; Zn 0.5-2.5, Fe 0.2-2.0, Mg 0.5-3.0, Si 0.2-1.2 and the balance aluminum and incidental impurities. The alloy for diecasting further additionally containing from 0.001 to 2.000 % in weight percentage in total of at least one element selected from the group consists of; Ti 0.05-0.3, Co 0.05-0.5, Cr 0.05-0.50, Sb 0.05-0.5, B 0.01-0.05, Ni, 0.05-2.0, Zr 0.05-0.3. Be 0.001-0.005, V 0.05-0.3.
