<p>PURPOSE:To prevent failures of tape due to deterioration of quality in advance, by enabling automatic rewinding of tape at load instruction through the control of tape run in response to the detection of an end mark. CONSTITUTION:An output signal of an instruction reception/transmission decoding circuit 5 starts a forward run driving circuit 9 via a driving control circuit 6 automatically and runs a tape forward. Then, the circuit 6 receives a start end mark BOT from a start end detecting circuit 7 and keeps the operation of the circuit 9. Further, when an end detecting circuit 8 detects an end mark EOT signal, the circuit 6 stops the circuit 9 and at the same time, it start a backward run driving circuit 10 to rewind the tape. Further, the circuit 7 detects the BOT signal, the ciurcuit 6 stops the circuit 10 and reports the completion of a load instruction to an upper rank device.</p> |
