PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a transfer failure caused by the resistance value change of a transfer material carrier or a transfer material by an environmental change. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device for transferring a toner image formed on an image carrier to a transfer material by a transfer device is provided with a temperature detecting means 31 and humidity detecting means 32 provided near the transfer device, an arithmetic means 33 for operating a value related to moisture from the temperature and relative humidity detected by the temperature detecting means 31 and humidity detecting means 32, a selecting means 34 for selecting an environmental partition according to the value related to moisture and the relative humidity, and a determining means 35 for determining a transfer output value on the basis of the environmental partition. |
