PURPOSE:To easily generate a computer graphic image which is close to the movement of a living body in real time by fixing a strain gauge to the center part of a rectangular thin plate type spring member, fixing the short-side end parts of the spring member to two points to be measured, and detecting the value of variation in relative position and generating a control signal. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular metallic thin plate 3 to which the strain gauge 2 is fixed is prepared as the spring member so as to measure the up-down motion of the mouth of a man 1; and one end of the metallic thin plate 3 is fixed to the center (a) of the upper lip of the man and the other end is fixed to the center (b) of the lower lip by using adhesive tapes 4. The strain gauge 2 measures the up-down motion of the mouth when the mouse is opened and shut and the measured value is converted by a converting device 5 into the control signal, which is visualized by a graphic work station 6 and displayed on a CRT monitor 7. Thus, computer graphics(CG) can be controlled with opening/shutting information on the mouth and a CG moving picture can be generated in real time. |
