PURPOSE:To effectively reduce or absorb noise generated by air blower by providing a sound abosrptive chamber in the midway of the ventilation flue of the air blower. CONSTITUTION:A sound absorber 18 is attached to the inner walls of the square cylinders 15 and 16 of a body case 10, and also the first and second partition plates 19 and 20 with through holes 21 and 22 and a sound absorber 25 are attached likewise to form the first and second sound absorptive chambers 23 and 24. When an air blower 9 is turned, the air of a room is sucked into the body case 10 through the ventilation flue 17, and then exhausted through the outer frame 5 of the ventilation fan body 1 to the outside. Noise generated during the blowing operation of the air blower 9 is reduced by the concerted actions of the partition plates 19 and 20 and the sound absorptive chambers 23 and 24. |
