<p>PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous uses for sure in a paper-feeding cassette to contain papers of different sizes by providing a sliding piece movable in accordance with each paper size on its side-wall for switching on or off a size-detection switch. CONSTITUTION:Slits 4a-4c and 5a-5c are provided on the bottom 2 and one of side-walls 3 and 3 of a main body 1 at positions corresponding to each size, for example, B-4, A-4, or B-5 for fitting a partition plate 6 to position the rear end of papers of each size. A sliding piece 11 is provided outside the side-wall 3 to be freely slided by a pair of pins 13... penetrated through a plurality of long holes 12... bored on the side-wall 3 and metal fittings 14. This sliding piece 11 is provided with slits 15a-15c corresponding to above-said slits 5a-5c. In this construction, when the partition plate 6 is inserted to agree with either of slits 5a-5c and slits 15a- 15c, a size-detection switch 16 can be switched on or off by the top part of the sliding piece 11.</p> |
