PURPOSE:To obtain a record stylus having a suitable pressure, by inserting a nonmagnetic weight member into a hole drilled through a record stylus assembling body or adhering said weight member to the assembling body to ensure a control of the total weight of the record stylus. CONSTITUTION:A hole 3 is drilled through a supporter main body 2 of a record stylus assembling body 1, and a weight member 4 is inserted into the hole 3 to secure a total weight of the body 1 equivalent to a switable stylus pressure. The main body 2 is composed of the plastic material when the suitable stylus pressure is light and composed of a metal or materials having a large specific gravity when said stylus pressure is weightly, respectively. Otherwise a controlling weight member 6 is ahdered to a record stylus assembling body 5 via an adhesive to obtain a suitable stylus pressure. Thus a zero-balance control is carried out for a tone arm with a record stylus removed from a cartridge, and a record stylus assembling body set at a desired stylus pressure is used to obtain an accurate stylus pressure. |
