PURPOSE:To obtain the recording device highly reliable for a long period of time with a simple constitution by a method wherein a microvibration is given by an electric signal to a pin contacting with a transfer tape on a recording paper to transfer the ink layer of the transfer tape onto the recording paper by the energy of this vibration. CONSTITUTION:A printing head 6 consists of a plurality of pins 61, 62...6n arranged in one row in a direction substantially perpendicular to the moving direction of the transfer tape 2, horns 71, 72... connected to these pins and magnetic hysteresis oscillators 81, 82..., and the pin is selectively driven by a circuit 9 to effect the micro-vibration when a printing signal is given to the selective drive circuit 9. The contact place of the solid ink layer 22 of the transfer tape 2, which has a relatively low melting point, is molten by this energy of the vibration, transferred onto the recording paper 1 and is thermoset thereon. |
