A piping system has a variable configuration for spreading a fluid, suitably for extinguishing systems, emergency cooling systems and the like. The pipes (4, 5, 6, 7, 8) in the system do not have holes for branches, and are provided with pipe coupling (6, 7) of a type where the forced displacment of a cutting means provides an opening in a pipe to connect the pipe to a branch in the pipe coupling. The pipe couplings are provided with means (21) which are actuated for an abnormal state, said means (21) in turn activating the cutting means. As long as the piping system has not been given an abnormal state, the branches can be moved at will. |
