PURPOSE:To accommodate optical fibers by giving redundant lengths larger than the cable so that the optical fibers are not afected by an excess tension even when the cable is stretched by the tension applied to it. CONSTITUTION:Along the inner surface of a pressure-resistant construction 2, two optical fibers 1s are accommodated longitudinally wavely and symmetrically to the axis. Further on the surface of a wire or a pipe 5 that has a large resilient force like a rubber, the optical 1s are adhered closely with each othr directly like a wave, to form an assembly, and are accommodated within said construction 2. And into an elastic band 6 such as rubber, the optical fibers 1s are embedded like a planar wave and are accommodated bending cylindrically in the construction 2. Since all of them are accommodated with wave like redundant lengths, the optical fibers can be protected from ordinarily occuring tension. |
