PURPOSE:To obtain pulp having a micro and uniform fibril structure, by molding a mixture of a linear aromatic polyester, a metal salt of organic sulfonic acid, and a specific polyol, followed by alkali treatment and beating. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of (A) a linear aromatic polyester [preferably, shown by the formula (n is 2-6), etc.], (B) a metal salt of organic sulfonic acid, and (C) a polyoxyalkylene glycol having an average molecular weight >=50,000 (preferably >=80,000) is molded. The amounts of the components B and C are 0.1-15wt% respectively based on the component A. The prepared molded article is treated with an alkali solution (preferably, aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide, etc.), and after reducing the weight to preferably 5-80wt%, it is beaten. |
