PURPOSE:To surely connect lugs and a strap by gradually thickening the lug of a plate toward the welding part with a strap. CONSTITUTION:The comb's teeth 5 of a welding tool 4 are fitted to the lugs 1 of plate, and a post is placed on a desired position of the welding tool 4. The lugs 1 and the post are melted together with additional lead with a burner to form a strap 3. The lugs, the post, and the strap 3 are thereby bonded together. Since the comb's teeth 5 are formed so as to gradually widen toward the welding surface from the lower part, the additional lead flows into the space between the lug 1 and the teeth 5, and the flame of the burner can reach the lower part of the welding surface. Therefore, the lugs and the strap are surly connected and decrease in strength of the welded part can be prevented. |
