PURPOSE:To heat the surface of a metallic pipe and prepare a chikuwa (a kind of fish paste), by inserting a heating wire into the interior of the metallic pipe via an insulator, projecting a terminal from the end of the metallic pipe, passing an electric current through the projected terminal with a trolley apparatus in contact with the projected terminal. CONSTITUTION:A raw material 9 is wound around the middle of a metallic pipe 1, and both ends of the pipe 1 are inserted into the interior of a pair of parallel spring levers 5 and 5 to support the pipe 1 by metallic rails 6 and 6. The levers 5 and 5 are then rotated in the direction of arrow C, and a voltage is applied to the pipe 1 by a terminal 4 and a guide plate 7 while moving the pipe 1 in the direction of arrow (a) to heat a heating wire 2 and further the surface of the metallic pipe 1. As a result, the raw material 9 is heated from the inner surface thereof and also the outer periphery by a heating wire 11 provided under the middle of the metallic rails 6 and 6. |
