PURPOSE:To improve the measurement accuracy of moisture contents by confirming with a pressure sensitive switch that cereal grains are near the measuring part of a moisture content meter and comperting only a data voltage of the time when the cereal grains exist. CONSTITUTION:A through-hole is pierced in the machine wall 1a facing above an electrode bar 17, and a rubber membrane 30 is put thereon. A pressure sensitive switch Se is mounted to this and this switch Sc is connected together with a moisture content meter A to the discriminating part C1 of a computer C. A display device D and operating mechanisms such as valves of a burner 4, the power switch of a motor 9 and the like are connected to the output side of the computer C. In the computer C, whether the bar 17 is held locked or not, that is, whether the meter A is under measurement or not is discriminated by whether there is a flag in the data output or not, and if there is, the flag is erased and further whether the switch Sc is on or off is discriminated by the discriminating part C1 of the computer C. Only when the switch Sc is on, the data voltage Er is outputted from the part C1 to a converting part C3, which converts the data voltage Er to the measured moisture content Ms of digital quantity. |
