<p>A clothes horse comprises a tubular frame of inverted-U shape mounted vertically on a rectangular tubular base, and carrying at various heights on either side of rectangular metal grids which may be lifted into a horizontal position, or folded down against the frame for storage. The outer frame of the grids consists of a metal rod whose ends are turned over to form a closed rectangular shape, which fits over a peg carried in a bracket attached to the vertical frame, and enables the grid to maintain a horizontal position, or a folded position, according to the location of the peg within the rectangle.</p> |
