CABLE TERMINATION CONSTRUCTION IN ANCHOR DEVICE OF MARINE OPTICAL COMMUNICATION CABLE

PURPOSE:To prevent core wire from being pulled into a cable when tension is applied by adopting a constitution to anchor a supporting body for an optical core wire assemblage to the anchor housing of an optical repeater via an optical tail cable branching body. CONSTITUTION:The titled structure is fixed by a polyethylene mold 16 in a state where a hydraulic pressure-resistant pipe 11 and an optical fiber core 24 are inserted relatively into a hole 29 provided to a branching body 19 for an optical tail cable constituted with an insulator such as ceramics. And, a top part of a supporting body 25 of cable core assemblage is inserted into a hole 30 to stick to the branching body 19 with an adhesive 27 and optical fiber cores 24 are led with redundant lengths into pressure-resistant, pipes 28s inserted and fixed in a large diameter part of a hole 31. Since the supporting body 25 is retained to the anchor housing via the brnaching body 19, a phenomenon of pulling a core wire into the cable can be prevented.
