Windmill blades are used to rotate a vertical shaft, which is provided with fly-weights controlling its rotational speed. The bottom part of the shaft is fitted with a rotor immersed in a water tank provided with thermally-insulated walls. When the rotor speed increases, it moves upwards towards stator blades in the tank so the resistance to rotation is increased and the amt. of heat transferred to the water is increased. Inside a pylon is a vertical shaft, which is rotated by windmill blades on its top end. The lower end of shaft is located in a thermally-insulated tank contg. water, and carries fly-weights lifting a rotor as the rotational speed increases. The rotor is used with stator blades to creat mechanical work heating the water. A heat exchanger coil with inlet and outlet pipes is used to heat water in an external system by heat transfer from water. |
