PURPOSE:To restrain the rebound of an armature, to prevent any mistaken printing and to enable to effect a high speed printing by a method wherein a spring means energizing a stop member toward the position regulating direction of the armature is provided. CONSTITUTION:When a predetermined signal is inputted, an electromagnet 2 is excited, the armature 15 corresponding thereto is attracted by a core 4 and a printing wire 16 supported by the armature 15 is projected to an operating position to effect a dot printing. When the electromagnet 2 is demagnetized, the armature 15 is returned to the resting position side thereof by the spring 12 and is engaged with the engaging surface 20 of a stop member 19. Whereby, the kinetic energy of the armature is rested instantaneously without rebounding while the stop member 19 is moved rearward. The kinetic energy delivered to the stop member 19 is absorbed into a pressing leaf spring 22 while the stop member 19 is returned to a position whereat the armature 15 is regulated to rest by the energizing force of the pressing leaf spring 22. |
