The field of application of the electrical moisture transducer having temperature compensation is that of analytical measurements. In the electrical moisture transducer according to the invention, the effect of temperature of the object to be measured on the measured moisture value is compensated for faultlessly, without having to employ a temperature-measuring element with its known drawbacks. This is achieved by inserting one or more dielectric moisture-measuring elements in the circuitry of a phase-shift oscillator. As a result, a moisture-dependent, frequency-analog electrical signal is produced in the oscillator. When the temperature of the object to be measured changes, the latter's reactance and resistance change in the same direction. This identical-direction effect of the temperature on these two types of resistance is converted in the phase-shift oscillator into an effect in the opposite direction on the oscillator frequency.
