PURPOSE:To reduce not only the power consumption but the wear of the tape and the head, by providing the 1st and 2nd switches at the camera side to start a pickup action with operation of the 1st switch and at the same time setting a recorder under the recording standby state to start the recording with the 2nd switch. CONSTITUTION:The video recording system is formed by combining the video TV camera 1 and a video recorder, and the 1st and 2nd switches 54 and 55 are provided within the camera 1 for video recording. A successive operation is secured for these switches 54 and 55 via the camera trigger button 46. Then the pickup tube 14 and other camera circuits are excited to secure a start of the pickup action with operation of the switch 54, and at the same time the recorder is set under the recording standby state. After operation of the switch 54, the recording is started for the tape stored in a tape cassette by operating the switch 55. In such way, the power consumption of system is reduced with a reduction also secured for the wear of the tape and the head. |
