<p>The converter provides an aerodynamic wind deflection for power generation, using a horizontal wind driven turbine. The system is partic. for integrating several wind driven power plants in buildings of any type. A rotary cylinder on a stationary axis is mounted in the wind flow direction and directs this flow in a desired direction, e.g. to the horizontal wind power converter. The rotary cylinder acts as a king pin and it makes the following wind turbine independent of the direction of the wind and its velocity by its deflective action. The deflecting cylinder may be also mounted behind the turbine, in order to deflect the downstream wind flow. In this manner the wind turbine can be operated under any wind conditions. The converter can be used in conjunction with a sleeve nozzle, using two or several blades.</p> |
