<p>The energy-saving cooking pot is the shape of a truncated cone. The height is twenty centimetres, and in the semi-truncated cone part is thirty centimetres. The dia. is under twenty centimetres. The top of the side of the pot is of smaller dia. than the bottom, to reduce the surface area of the walls and the lid, thus reducing heat wastage through these regions. The base of the pot is broad, to give a large area in contact with a gas flame or electric ring.</p> |
