PURPOSE:To enable an operator to know an operating state of a fixing device and the time until a copying is capable of execution by indicating the temp. of a heater at the time for throwing-in of power source and heat-up time up to the prescribed temp., and by renewing the indication according to the time lapse. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of a fixing heater 1 is detected with a thermistor NTC and applied to an input terminal AN0 of a microcomputer MCP. To ports P0 and P1 of the MCP displays 3, 4 for a temperature indication is connected. This constitution, when a set temperature is 200 deg.C, the temperature of the heater 1 is A/D converted, causing a temperature value to be operated on the basis of prescribed program of MCP, the heat-up time up to 200 deg.C is read-out from an ROM, and subjected to displaye 3, 4 together with the detected temperature. This temperature detection and renewal of indications are repeated, at 180 deg.C a current is conducted intermittently and at 200 deg.C a current is cut off and it is indicated that copying is possible. Hereby, an operator can easily know the state of the fixing device and the time until copying is capable of execution. |
