PURPOSE:To reduce the fetching time of data at addition and subtraction, by processing the equalizing of index part and the operation of mantissa with different microinstructions and further providing a means which shunts temporarily the equalized data. CONSTITUTION:A main storage device 1 is a device which stores instructions and data. A register control section 2 has ROMs and register files. It reads out and interpretes instructions from the main storage device 1 and makes an operating control section 3 execute fixed of floating decimal point operations. The sections 2 and 3 are connected by data buses 4, 5 and a control bus 6, and data are transferred from the section 2 to the section 3 by the data bus 4 and microinstructions are transferred by the control bus 6. |
