PURPOSE:To increase the usage efficiency of memories, by adopting the architecture of memories in variable number of digits. CONSTITUTION:Inputted numerals consist of four parts, a mantissa 6, fraction 7, code 8 and a separator 9. Sectioning signals to section each data are stored in the separator section 9, consequently, numerals are stored over a given number of digits as a plurality of sets of data sectioned by the separator section. The address designation of memories is made by numeric keys in 2-digit after the key depression of memory key group. The memory address corresponding to the numeric keys in 2- digit is sought out by making a read/write control section 14 as read state, scanning an address counter 12, detecting a separator signal A being the data sectioning signal with a detection section 13 and counting the signal at a control section 11. |
