<p>The X-ray photographic apparatus includes tube potential and current adjustment together with exposure time adjustment according to the density of the subject matter under examination. The adjustments are closely defined and controlled with fail safe shutdown in event of problems. The sections of a human body (1) being X-rayed are selected by first switches (S1-S3) which control the tube potential and current. The areas covered by these first switches are subdivided into density areas controlled by further switching combinations (S11-S22) for exposure control. Each area switch (S1,S2,S3) is coupled to a density selection switching combination (S11-S22) which is further coupled to a time control (10).</p> |
