<p>A ladder cord hanging down from a tubular unit, with slats hanging on it, together with a tilting device and raising cord, are incorporated in a venetian blind. Slats (7,8) are alternately arranged in two parallel groups independently hung on two ladder cords (9,10). The top of one cord is attached to the periphery of the tubular unit (1), and the top of the other is drawn into this unit through a hole (11) on its periphery, and then linked to an end of a cord (14) for changeover. This cord passes through the other end (2) of the tubular unit, and extends downwards from the second bearing (4), enabling the blind to change from a sheet composed of one set of slats to one composed of the other, by a single cord operation, without changing the inclination of the slats.</p> |
