<p>The strip prevents draughts under the lower edge of a hinging door, and comprises a main profiled section fixed to the door and accommodating a second one hinging on it, an elastic draught strip being fixed along the free edge of the latter. The second section is spring-loaded into the retracted position, and is swung down into the working one by a component protruding from the end of the main profiled section and acting against the door frame. The spring is of the torsion type (17), fixed at one end in the second profiled section (7) and coupled at the other to the main one (1). The control member with which the component works is a leaf spring (10) extending parallel to the main section and with thickened end portions (13,14) sliding in grooves, open towards each other, in this section. The latter has a stop for the innermost end of the leaf spring, while the other end of the latter supports or conforms to component protruding from the section end.</p> |
