PURPOSE:To realize quick reproduction for both surfaces of a tape which has been recorded halfway, by providing a means to detect that the reproduced signal has been discontinued for a prescribed time or longer plus a means to detect that the tape has reached its termination. CONSTITUTION:A detecting means 41 consists of a record termination detecting circuit 19 connected to an amplifier 15 and others and detects that the reproduced signal has been discontinued for a prescribed time or longer. A high-speed tape traveling means 42 consists of a switch circuit 33, a flip-flop 35, a high-speed feeding plunger 30 and others. A detecting means 43 consists of light emitting elements 11a and 11b disposed opposite to each other via a tape 2, photodetectors 12a and 12b, a tape termination detecting circuit 13 and others. Furthermore a going reproducing means 5 comprises a reproduction button 23, a flip-flop 36, a reproduction plunger 29, a capstan 7b, a pinch roller 8b, a head 9, amplifiers 15 and 16, a speaker 17, an output terminal 18 and others. And a coming-back reproducing means 44 comprises a switch circuit 33 within a control circuit 13, a flip-flop 38, a reverse reproduction plunger 27 and others. |
