PURPOSE:To prevent crackings and fractures during the working by ultrasonic working of an intermetallic compound externally confined under a fixed pressure. CONSTITUTION:A magnet 1 blanked in a disc is fixed with a chuck 2. The chuck 2 presses the magnet 1 under a fixed external pressure 3 by the clamping force thereof. Under such a condition, an ultrasonic vibration tool in which diamond grains are electrodeposited on a metal shaft is given an ultrasonic vibration to drill the magnet. During the working, chips are removed by blasting a compressed air 5 and vacuum absorption 6. |
