PURPOSE:To make a plant unmanned with a higher mechanical operating rate by enabling the effective conveyance of the work through an automatic conveyance employing a pallet loader robot whenever a pallet loaded with the work is required by a machine tool while the robot is constructed to a tandem type for loading or unloading the work at the outside of the machining work. CONSTITUTION:In an NC machine tool having a pallet and an automatic pallet changing function, a pallet loaded with the subsequent work is placed on a pallet loader robot of a tandem type capable of carrying two pallets and conveyed to a machine tool. Then, after working by the machine tool the pallet used is shifted to the robot, while a pallet loaded with the subsequent work is fed to the machine tool. Thus, changing of work is done automatically for the machine tool. |
