PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of providing a door housing part which houses the door opened for passengers getting on and off and to improve the safety in the door operation by designing the pivoted door to be able to rotate outwardly from the vehicle body and make a parallel movement by means of a quadric crank linkage. CONSTITUTION:When a power cylinder 10 is driven to descend a rod 11 in a door closed condition, a support 8 descends and also the door 1 descends, thereby releasing the lock. Next, by a rotation of a cylinder cam 13 by a roller 21 and a guiding groove 15 having an inclination, the support 8 rotates. This rotation of the support 8 is transmitted through the quadric crank linkage 3, 7'' to the door 1 so as to rotate in the opening direction and also make a parallel movement in the parallel direction with respect to the vehicle body. According to such a construction, there is no need to provide a door housing part for housing the door 1 when it is opened. Further, the inside of the vehicle can be widened and the safety in the door operation can be much improved. |
