<p>PURPOSE: To uniformly execute lubricant application on upper and lower bead parts of a tire by providing the above device with a turning means for turning the tire around its axial center in a positioning position of a transporting means and coating applying means for applying the lubricant on the bead parts of the turning tire. CONSTITUTION: Coating rollers constitutes positioning means 3 for preventing the movement in a transporting direction by engaging with the upper and lower beads 5 of the tire 1 and the coating mans 6 for applying the lubricant by coming into contact with the upper and lower beads 5. Namely, the coating rollers are inserted into the central hole of the tire 1 on the transporting means 2, by which the rollers are engaged with the upper and lower beads 5 and the transportation is stopped. At this time, the fourth rollers 11 are lowered below the transportation plane and the rotating force of the second rollers 9 on the right side is transmitted to the tire 1 so that the tire 1 tends to turn around its axial center. This turning is permitted as the third and fifth rollers 10, 12 consist of freely loosely rotatable rollers. The uniform application of the lubricant on the upper and lower beads 5 of the tire 1 is thus made possible.</p> |
