PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of a digital communication equipment for mobile communication. CONSTITUTION:The digital communication equipment is provided with an antenna 1, a diplexer 2, a receiving part 3, a transmitting part 4, an arithmetic processing part 5, a clock generating part 6, and a control part 7. Within a receiving operation stopping period, the operation of the processing part 5 is completely stopped through an WAKE-UP signal 105 outputted from the control part 7, and at the time of restarting the receiving operation, the operation of the processing part 5 is completely restored and restarted through the signal 105 and transmitting/receiving operation is started by using symbol timing information outputted from a timing extracting circuit included in the processing part 5 through a symbol clock signal 104 and phase difference information outputted immediately before the stop of the receiving operation which is read out from an SRAM included in the processing part 5 as a timing initial value. |
