In the compressor housing is mounted a rotary shaft (6) so inserted in a through bore (10) of a swashplate (8) so as to permit to the latter a motion freedom for its incline. On the rotary shaft is located a support plate (8), with a joint mechanism (11) between the swash and support plates. To the swashplate is coupled a reciprocating piston for handling a coolant gas, whose displacement can be adjusted by setting the swashplate inclination angle. The swashplate is coupled to the rotary shaft by the support plate at several points of the joint mechanism. The swashplate contacts the rotary shaft at a single point on the inner face of the through bore.
