PURPOSE:To improve the overall heat transmission efficiency, by arranging the phase of a wavy wire wound around a heating tube in at least two systems. CONSTITUTION:A required number of plural hard copper wires W are sent to a wire fin forming section 3 and are formed into a wavy wire 1 whose tip is then wound around the surface of a tube 2 after passing a wire fin guide 5 and a wire fin feeder 4; under this condition, a gear driving motor and a tube feeder are started. Plural wavy wires 1, continuously formed by a couple of gears, are fed to the surface of a rotating and advancing heating tube 2, by the wire fin guide 5 and the wire fin feeder 4 under a condition that the wave crest is standing straight without leaning down; hereby, a suitable tension is impressed on the wires 1 which are then wound all at once around the surface of the tube 2. Accordingly, the wire fin in a multithreaded spiral form is continuously formed around the heating tube 2, and the wave crest stands straight along the circumference of the tube 2 and the wave through makes a tight contact elastically with the surface of the tube 2. |
