<p>PURPOSE:To improve the quality and the reliability of an ignition coil by filling an inorganic filler of specific grain size in the space of a container which contains a primary coil and a secondary coil having interlayer thin insulating sheet, filling and hardening thermosetting resin composition. CONSTITUTION:An inorganic filler such as silica sand, alumina or the like having 0.2-5mm. of mean grain diameter is filled in the space of a container which contains a primary coil and a secondary coil having interlayer thin insulating sheet such as varnish paper or the like. Then, thermosetting resin composition such as epoxy resin or the like is filled, and are so thermally set that the upper end of the sheet and the upper surface of the inorganic filler layer are securely consealed. Thus, the quality and the reliability of the ignition coil can be enhanced by eliminating corona discharge or the like when a high voltage is applied.</p> |
