The sliding-door lock has two-armed levers (7) which are arranged on the top side of the door and which are connected to hand levers (11). The two-armed levers (7) carry, at their free ends, guide rollers (12) which engage into run-in guides (14) fastened to the vehicle body (1), when the door stands in front of the door aperture. As a result of the pivoting of the hand levers (11), the door (2) is moved parallel to itself into the door aperture. <IMAGE>
