PURPOSE:To uniformalize the characteristics of a coil and to enhance the efficiency of manufacturing the coil by partly exfoliating the coating layer of a continuously fed coated wire at a predetermined pitch, coiling the coated part and continuously and automatically performing the step of cutting the center of the exfoliated part. CONSTITUTION:The coating layer of a coated wire continuously fed by feeding means is rotated at a high speed with the wire as the center of an axis and is partly exfoliated at a predetermined pitch by exfoliating means having openable exfoliating cutter. In this case, the exfoliated part and the unexfoliated part are detected by correcting means, which corrects the feeding amount, are then passed through a flux coating unit and a soldering unit to solder only the exfoliated part. Subsequently, the coated part of the wire is coiled by coiling means, and the exfoliated part is then cut at the center by a cutter. Thus, the characteristics of the coil can be averaged and the efficiency of manufacturing the coil can be improved without deforming the coil. |
