PURPOSE:To plate simply and surely a predetermined part alone of a product in the form of a belt by allowing a protecting soln. inert to a plating soln. and the product and incompatible with the plating soln. to coexist with the plating soln. in a separated state and immersing the product in the solns. CONSTITUTION:A protecting soln. 3 of chlorofluorohydrocarbon such as flon 112 or flon 113 inert to a plating soln. 2 and a product 6 to be plated and incompatible with the soln. 2 is allowed to coexist with the soln. 2 in a plating tank 1 in a separated state. The product 6 is suspended from a cathode bus bar 7 through a rack 8 so that the lower part 6a of the product 6 requiring no plating is immersed in the soln. 3, the middle part 6b requiring plating is immersed in the soln. 2, and the upper part 6c requiring no plating is protruded from the surface of the soln. 2. By carrying out electrolysis in this state, the middle part 6b alone is plated in the form of a belt. |
