<p>A cassette for a record carrier in the form of a tape comprises a single rigid bar-shaped support of the cassette which support is essentially parallel to a side surface for two pressure members in which at least two cut-outs are formed for the passage of scanning elements, which is movably and pivotably journalled and is spring loaded in the direction of said side surface, said pressure members being disposed adjacent and spaced from each other on said support near one of the two cut-outs for pressing the record carrier which is passed along the side surface with the cut-outs, against the scanning elements. The bar-shaped support comprises two pairs of coaxial projections which are disposed adjacent each other in its longitudinal direction and which are spaced from each other, so as to render said support pivotable and movable, which projections engage with play with corresponding guide slots which essentially extend perpendicularly to the side surface with the cut-outs, the ends of the guide slots near the side surface with the cut-outs constituting the stops for the support.</p> |
