Wide spectrum herbicidal compns. were prepd. by mixing S-(4-chlorobenzyl) N,N- diethylthiol(I) and substituted thio carbamate(II; R,R1=lower alkyl, forming heterocycle with N). Thus, the mixing powder of 1.5 wt.% I, 1.5 wt.% II(R,R1 = Et) and 97 wt.% mixt. of clay and talc controlled Echinochloa crus-galli, monochoria vaginalis and Scirpus juncoides in rice paddies.
