PURPOSE:To form a battery with small internal resistance by using graphite which is heated at a temperature in a specific range as a conductive agent in the anode compound of the battery using lithium as a cathode material. CONSTITUTION:Graphite which is heat-treated at a temperature in a range from 400 to 600 deg.C in the atmosphere is used as a conductive agent for the anode compound of an organic electrolyte battery, the cathode active material of which battery is lithium. The anode compound 1 is combined with a separator 3 of polypropylene nonwoven fabric and cathode compound 4 of lithium, and an electrolyte is poured therein to form a battery. Because inpurities in graphite are burned and removed by heat-treating the graphite at a temperature in a range from 400 to 600 deg.C, so the internal resistance of the battery due to the inpurities is reduced, and a battery with small internal resistance can be obtained. |
